After a competitive game of pickleball, you might need to cool off. A 3-to-21 loss isn't so hard to swallow with a tasty beer in hand. Overhead Slam, a pickleball brewery, knows how to keep the game alive while keeping things relaxed and fun. Inspired by my family's love of pickleball and craft beer, this project was an opportunity to build an identity for Overhead Slam, create a website from scratch with HTML/CSS, and design playful beer can designs.

Strictly Roots is an evolving project for my friend's permaculture and gardening business. I began by creating a modular logo system: I updated their original full logo then developed a distinctive logotype. Capturing the rugged professionalism of their work was essential, as was creating a logotype versatile enough to stand alone in contexts where the full logo isn’t practical. I built the Strictly Roots website on squarespace, enhanced with subtle custom CSS and HTML to strengthen the brand presence.
